This opportunity affords the intern access to IT associates within the Business Intelligence reporting group as well as exposure to other department personnel.

Duties: Work with senior editorial staff to develop web posts and post articles. Includes copy editing stories and press releases; creating eye catching, informative titles and first sentence (deck); selecting keywords for search engine optimization; selecting and optimizing images; and posting articles using WordPress. Use social media software that schedules for twitter, facebook, linkedin and tumblr; develop strategies for existing sites and/or new approaches to expand readership. Will learn: WordPress, one of the most used web platforms; an understanding of how web content is developed and deployed; experience crafting content for a business-to-business audience. Evivio, a software platform for scheduling social media posts; and various analytical tools that track web, social media and advertising traffic and patterns. Will also have an inside view and will contribute to the development of a new website committed to helping businesses.

Duties: Work under the direction of senior staff to design and post artwork and displays to online magazine and website. Develop strategies and/or new approaches to expand readership. Will learn: How to work in a professional production environment.
