(www.fegs.org) FEGS Thypin Oltchick Institute for Entrepreneurship (www.yourfutureinbusiness.org) was launched seven years ago and has helped New Yorkers launch more than 1,000 businesses. The Institute partners with 100+ other entrepreneurship programs to provide seminars, workshops, entrepreneurship counseling and other supports that help entrepreneurs navigate available resources and start and grow their businesses. Internship Focus: Interns will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects supporting the work of the Institute including the following: research and help develop new and innovative programs and supports for entrepreneurs research prospective foundation funders and help write grant proposals research and analyze policy issues relevant to entrepreneurship assist with data entry/analysis/program evaluation initiatives Requirements: Graduate student or undergraduate junior or senior with concentration in business, womens issues, social work, public administration, public policy, education, psychology, economics; research or other relevant fields Excellent writing skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and internet research Desire to learn about entrepreneurship Internship Details A minimum of 3 days per week required; 5 days preferred A minimum of 8 weeks is required (can start internship any month) Internship reports to the Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute Internship is unpaid Fabianne Gershon I Director I Thypin Oltchick Institute for Entrepreneurship@FEGS315 Hudson Street, First Floor I 212-366-0033 I fgershon@fegs.org
