Primary responsibility is assisting the Collections Staff with collections management tasks in the permanent and hands-on collections. This includes assisting with cataloging and data entry, object photography, inventory, and storage organization. Interns will be exposed to most aspects of Collections department operations while at the same time attempting to tailor the internship to that individual's interests and goals. Applicants should have strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a positive personality. Internship is part-time, non-paid and begins June 2013 and last until August 2013. College credit can be granted if applicable.
