The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Intern is to assist the Pharmacist by supporting various activities related to medication order processing. Activities include accurate entry of new and refill prescription orders and resolution of insurance alerts in addition to the provision of excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, insurance carriers and internal customers. Required Qualifications:
*Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program. *Must be available to complete a training program from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. for 4 weeks. Preferred Qualifications:
* Pharmacology knowledge, analytical skills and detail orientation that will enable the identification of drug interactions, potentially dangerous side effects, appropriate dosage requirements and dosage calculations which meet with medically recommended solutions. * Excellent customer service skills * Attention to customer focus, ensuring that both medical professionals and patients are responded to with accurate and timely information. * Ability to work in teams * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse customer group. * Ability to make decisions and resolve issues. Education:

Position Description: FSC Marketing Communications is a full-service marketing communications firm and a member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA). Professional services include account planning, creative services/graphic design (print, web, multimedia, radio and TV), CRM/direct marketing, marketing consulting, market research, media services, sales promotion, tradeshows, packaging, interactive, and public relations. Throughout the year, FSC Marketing Communications conducts a thorough account associate program. Each associate is provided an opportunity to design the program to meet his or her specific needs, such as earning academic credit and/or being paid to work within a specific area of interest. The program is a unique opportunity to receive practical experience in marketing, advertising and public relations. Account Associates are a valuable resource to our office. The program sharpens an a potential full time employee's interest in business, marketing, and creative strategy allowing him or her to apply knowledge gained in the classroom. At FSC, the pace is extremely fast be prepared to meet a new challenge every day! AAs will be supervised by an appropriate staff member at FSC . Evaluations will be conducted throughout the program.
