Responsibilities and duties include: Communications intern: The communications intern provides project and administrative support to the Online Media Organizer. Tasks include building content, developing/refining messages, and targeted outreach utilizing Facebook, twitter and email to interact with our base in a two-way conversation about our mission and goals. Development intern: The development intern will assist the special events coordinator and development director in BROs strategic fundraising plan by assisting in planning and executing special events, house parties, donor outreach and BROs annual dinner. Marriage Matters intern: The grassroots field intern will assist the field team in recruiting, training and coordinating volunteer leaders to educate the public and build support for marriage equality.
