The Amazon Conservation Team (ACT) works at the forefront of Collaborative Cultural Mapping with Indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest and is seeking an intern to assist with ongoing mapping projects. The Amazon Conservation Team (ACT) is a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with indigenous people of tropical America to conserve the biodiversity of the Amazon Rainforest as well as the culture and land of its indigenous people. A minimum of three months or 360 hours commitment is required. During that time, interns are expected to work a minimum of 5-6 hours per day for 4-5 days per week. Schedule is flexible as agreed upon by internship coordinator, mentor and intern.
