Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library is the former estate of H.F. du Pont with 60 acres of naturalistic garden set within a 1000 acres of woods, meadows & streams amid the rolling hills of Delaware's Brandywine Valley. Appealing to a wide audience of tourists, culture seekers, and avid horticulturists, the Winterthur Garden is a historic and rare example of a "wild garden". The Garden Historian Intern will focus on organizing the histroical documentation for the restoration of the Reflecting Pool, East Terrace and Glade. This inrern will also photo document the current site conditions of those areas. The intern will prep all garden restoration files for archiving. This will include organizing and scanning documents and photographs and identifying missing information.

MVG will work within the colleges internship guidelines. The internship will be paid by a stipend which is distributed out twice- ($125) at the half way point and ($125) at completion of the internship. Interns invest the required amount of time as specified by their college-typically 15-20 hours per week. The program will span from May 9th through August 9th. The Wetlands Institute is a non-profit organization in southern NJ who's mission is to promote appreciation, understanding & stewardship of wetlands and coastal ecosystems through our programs in research, education & conservation. This internship is designed to introduce you to environmental education as a profession and further your career, all while you explore one of America's most incredible natural areas. So if being wet, muddy, and happy at day's end sounds like your dream job, then we want you at the Wetlands Institute. Interns will help lead programs for all ages, work directly with live marine animals, teach outreach programs, and work on a variety of other programs and special events to promote the Jersey Shore and its spectacular salt marshes to tourists and residents. Interns work 40 hours per week (some weekends and evenings required), a weekly stipend, and onsite dormitory housing is available.

Gator Country is a 15 acre alligator and reptile sanctuary that sees over 30,000 visitors per year, where conservation and education come together, serving to protect some of the most amazing animals in the world. Paddling Guides and Instructors - part time Part-time guides are often apprenticing or interning while growing their outdoor leadership and sea kayaking skills. Staff may also be part-time if working with Lost Creek while holding down another job or taking college classes. Part time guides run day trips and assist full-time staff on longer trips. You must be available to work all day during the weekends, and are welcome to work during the week when work is available. Qualifications expected are the same as for Full-time staff though lower levels of paddling ability are to be expected at first. Position dates: June through Labor day with some shoulder season work possible. Apprentices and Interns can expect very light work loads until the end of June when the season starts to get busy.
