The Alzheimer's Association is a nonprofit organization that provides education and support services to those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and their families. All of our services are free to the community. These free services are made possible by donations/fundraising in the community. We are looking for 3-4 interns to assist in the promotion of our Walk to End Alzheimer's. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.

The Alzheimer's Association is a nonprofit organization that provides education and support services to those affected by Alzheimer's and their families. We are looking for interns to assist the Program Director in providing support services. These services include educational presentations in the community, answering Helpline calls and providing information, referrals, and counseling to families, physician outreach, advocacy, and caregiver conferences.

RESPONSIBILITIES The Grant Writing Intern will report to the Development Officer, Foundation Relations. Duties will include identifying grant opportunities, editing and proofreading proposals and reports, researching funders, finding appropriate statistics and research to strengthen proposals, conducting occasional outreach to previous and potential funders, utilizing funding database, and more.
