Find Internships at American Red Cross of Northeastern NY

Primary Purpose Provide disaster preparedness education to the community through the delivery of presentations and active recruitment and training of volunteers. Dual Role Assist in the development and marketing of the disaster preparedness programs through collaboration with the Regional Preparedness Associate.

Assist the American Red Cross in the following activity areas (multiple internships available in each area for each semester): Disaster Response; Preparedness/Community Disaster Education; Community Disaster Resilience; Humanitarian Law/Geneva Conventions; Services to Armed Forces; Health & Safety Certifications; Blood Drives/Biomedical Services; Financial Development/Fund Raising; Communications; Volunteer Development/Human Resources; State Government Relations/Public Policy Multiple locations offered: Albany, Poughkeepsie, Glens Falls and Plattsburgh, NY. Preference given to college Red Cross campus club members. Members of campus Red Cross clubs are given priority.
