Be a part of the creative process from behind the scenes and learn more about the process of bringing the written word to the stage! Berkshire Playwrights Lab is seeking Theater Administration and Production Interns for the 2013 summer season. Located in beautiful, culture-rich Great Barrington, MA, Berkshire Playwrights Lab is dedicated exclusively to encouraging, developing, and presenting new plays. While working in a professional and creative environment with established professionals, interns will have a provocative opportunity to share in the dramatic evolution of premiere works. This internship combines a thorough experience in both administration and production providing on the job training in the management office, rehearsal rooms, back stage, and front of house. Moreover, interns will benefit from: mentorship and support to ensure a meaningful learning experience opportunities to learn from our accomplished Artistic Directors time to explore the natural beauty of the Berkshire Hills excursions or discounted tickets to other local arts organizations We offer TWO internships Full-season: May 28 - August 23 Partial-season: July 2 - August 23
