The Dylans Candy Bar Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training while gaining valuable and realistic hands-on experience and an introduction to the industry
We are seeking spring interns to work in our Merchandising department. The interns will support the development and execution of departmental strategies and business objectives. We are seeking individuals who are hardworking, professional, and work well in a fast-paced, team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience with a world class brand and looking for a future career in Retail, Wholesale, Buying and Visual Merchandising. The interns will ultimately learn what it takes to be successful in a dynamic, luxury retail business environment. Through his/her daily tasks, the interns will see how his/her actions impact the business, gain hands-on experience analyzing and translating data into business strategies and presentations, learn to work within a broader cross-functional team, and hone their time-management skills.
Interns will receive a $250.00 weekly stipend. We will help interns receive college credit, if possible.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in progress; must have finished at least their freshman year
Candidates should possess leadership qualities and skills and be excited about a potential career in management and retail
Excellent communication, oral and written, plus strong customer service skills
Strong detail-orientation, ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently
Knowledge of excel and word
Strong organizational skills
Basic understanding and interest in retail/fashion related fields
Must be hard working and a team player
Must love candy
