Production Intern

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a burgeoning start-up backed by an established Marketing and PR company. Interns will have tremendous creative freedom to shape projects from start to finish, as well as a chance to have their work seen by widespread audiences. Details: a. Brainstorming ideas and concepts for original digital content b. Assisting in development and scripting process c. Shooting/editing/producing footage d. Assisting with Social Media to promote content e. Preforming basic administrative functions Requirements: a. Experience in digital/social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) b. Editing experience with Final Cut Pro, Premiere and/or AVID c. Previous production experience (on set or classwork) d. Must be in the LA area e. Must have a laptop computer, transportation and valid drivers license f. Ability to intern 3-5 days a week g. Production equipment preferred (i.e, DSLR camera, audio equipment, editing software) h. Previous industry experience (Preferred) i. Bachelors in Communications/Film/New Media (Preferred) j. Bilingual in Spanish and English (Preferred)

Social Media Intern

Responsibilities a. Monitor day-to-day social media platforms b. Conceptualize and implement social media campaigns to drive views to H&M Communications' marketing assets as well as original video content c. Create strategies to increase followers and fan participation on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. d. Discover and research emerging social networks, social applications and trends, e.g. Instagram, Foursquare, Get Glue, Klout e. Plan how to incorporate new social media trends into our business strategy f. Create Posts/Tweets for company and client Facebook and Twitter accounts, assist in building and management of social media communities Desired Skills & Experience a. Extensive personal experience across various social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, etc. b. The ability plan and achieve set goals by or before deadline c. The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team d. Attention to detail and deadlines e. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) f. A concrete understanding of social media ecosystems, specifically YouTube g. Experience using social media analytics tools such as TweetReach (Preferred) Requirements: a. Must be in the LA area b.
