Shofar Communications, Inc. Internship program is a 9 week unpaid learning experience that will prepare you for work in the Media industry. We are currently seeking a Art Design intern who is interested in working for a magazine and in magazine layout. The art designer is responsible for the magazine's visual aspects. The primary task is creating graphical concepts using typography, color as well as imagery. This is a virtual unpaid internship but carries tons of opportunity for experience.

Must be a self-starter, someone who is a get-up-and-go type, willing to take a task and run with it. Must have a passion for the field, have superb writing and interpersonal skills. Duties include: - Working directly under CEO - Learn to: - Write and edit media pitches - Write and edit press releases - Create and edit media lists - Brainstorm creative publicity ideas for client PR campaigns - Draft press kits - Send press packages to media - Opportunity to attend events
