Internship Opportunity at I Will Save the World I Will Save the World is a for-purpose, for-profit that provides opportunities for elementary aged children to 'give back'. Each month a Purpose Pack comes to the door step of child aged 5 to 9. Inside each Purpose Pack is information about a non-profit and a global issue the non-profit is trying to solve. Additionally, there is an art & craft project for the child to complete. After a trophy week the child uses the pre-paid for, pre-addressed label to ship the completed craft to the non-profit featured to be used as part of its programs. Imagine Meals on Wheels receiving thousands of hand crafted placemats to deliver with every meal they give or American Veterans Assoc welcoming troops home with thousands of hand-crafted flags. With I Will Save the World you can bring philanthropy to the kitchen table teaching kids that they really have the power to change.the.world. Start-up social enterprise is looking for an intern, 15 hours per week (minimum) to support the Founder in New York. Tasks will include: - Support Social Media strategy (FB, Twitter, Instagram) - Sourcing and procuring supplies for products - Manage details related to fulfillment and shipping - Liase with non-profit partners - Admin office support - Assist Founder in tasks - Design collateral for the brand (packaging, webpages, products, e-blasts) Skills required: - Understanding or direct experience with elementary aged children - Literate in Socialmedia - Highly organized - Passionate about wanting to make the world a better place Add'l requirements: - Own laptop that can be used for IWSTW tasks - Be able to work virtually and in the IWSTW office - Photoshop experience (or equivalent there of) If interested, please send your resume and your TIME availability to the team to: hero@IWillSavetheWorld.com
