The Connecticut Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) seeks energetic and goal oriented interns for assisting in the planning of our Light The Night Walks. Light The Night is LLS annual evening fundraising walks that take place in the Fall to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. The event raises funds towards our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. www.lightthenight.org/ct This internship opportunity is a summer program which is unpaid with school credit available. This is a part time position with a flexible schedule based in our Wilton, CT office. The internship is perfect for undergraduate and graduate students. Previous experience is a plus, but not required.

Seeking an energetic individual to provide marketing & event coordination support for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Societys mission. The intern will assist in recruiting new event participants, maintaining databases, performing community outreach, assisting volunteers and providing administrative support. This is a great opportunity to experience working in a nonprofit environment as well as event management and development.

Team In Training (TNT) is the world's largest endurance training program for runners, walkers, cyclists and triathletes. To date, TNT has trained 420,000 volunteer participants to complete an endurance event and they have raised over $1 billion! TNT provides certified coaches and mentors to the participants that assist them in their fitness and personal goals for marathons, century rides and triathlons. In return, the Team members raise funds to help find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. We offer a supportive and hands on working environment where you can learn new skills and enhance existing ones. This is an unpaid internship and great resume builder. Hours are flexible. Minimum 10 hours a week. Positions available in Cranford and Mt. Laurel.
