The Salvation Army seeks a highly motivated, self-starting energetic student who is passionate about non-profit organization. Intern will directly support The Salvation Army staff and gain valuable skills while assisting with program development, corporate research and communications/public relations for The Salvation Army all across Missouri and Sothern Illinois. This unpaid internship can provide school credit, portfolio building experience, a flexible schedule and valuable experience in the workforce.

The Salvation Army Midland Division (located near Forest Park in St. Louis) is looking for a graphic design intern to work afternoons 4 days per week to assist in graphic design work for web graphics (including banners, flyers and infographics), documents and advertising. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Adobe After Effects is a plus. Intern will directly support The Salvation Army staff and gain valuable skills while assisting with event planning, corporate research and communications/public relations for The Salvation Army in the Greater St. Louis market. This unpaid internship can provide school credit, portfolio building experience, a flexible schedule and valuable experience in the non-profit sector. Duties: Assist coordinating and implenting fund-raising events Maintain large database through The Salvation Army reporting system and data entry Research new donor opportunities with local corporations/businesses Project development and management Attend committee/board meetings and complete minutes Secure in-kind donations Help with event logistics - including attending events Assemble press kits and mailings Other duties as assigned

Intern will work at The Salvation Army Social Service Office located at 1047 Southern Ave. Fayetteville, NC 28301. Person will assist case workers by making copies, filing, etc.

The Salvation Army Foster Care & Adoption Program provides for the temporary protection, support and nurturing of children placed in Salvation Armys approved and highly qualified foster and adoptive families. Services are provided in a holistic manner; promoting the safety and well-being of children while responding to the diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds of the children and families we serve. This internship will focus on providing community relations and marketing support for the programs, fundraising and friend-raising efforts of The Salvation Army Foster Care & Adoption Program of the Lehigh Valley. This is a volunteer position which will provide real-world experience in marketing and public relations in a non-profit setting. The intern can utilize their creative talents and excellent communication skills to create a unique marketing campaign that will help raise awareness and provide a positive impact on the lives of foster and adoptive children in our community.
