Find Internships at The Centers for Families and Children

This intern will assess the performance of the Early Learning Centers based on their business performance as well as their performance outcomes. These projects may change and be determined based on the time of the internship. This internship is nonpaid.

Intern will work closely with Early Learning management staff to advance numerous special projects at both the administrative/executive and direct-service levels. Projects will be both time-limited (example approx. 5 business days) and ongoing. Intern will have exposure to a variety of different early learning topic areas and staff members. This is the perfect internship for someone interested in seeing the many sides of our early learning operation and working with many different kinds of people. Intern will have the ability to shadow executive leaders, site managers and supervisors for the home-based program.

The intern will assess the needs of the Parents and Children that attend Early Learning Centers and research programs that may get Parents more engaged. These projects may change and be determined based on the time of the internship. This internship is nonpaid.

Reporting directly to the Director of Real Estate the intern will be a key team member in developing and documenting the Centers for Families and Childrens real estate portfolios & assets in establishing our Strategic and Master plans. This position is non-paid.

The intern will work with the Behavioral Health Department supporting their IT needs. This position is non-paid.

The intern will assist the Vice President of Program Strategy Alignment and Partnership with a variety of different tasks and projects. These projects may change and be determined based on the time of the internship. This internship is non-paid.

This internship focuses on supporting the El Barrio English as a Second Language (ESL) program. The intern will help increase the capacity of El Barrio staff by assisting with the duties of the ESL Coordinator by providing classroom and clerical support and assisting with registration activities. The intern will work closely with El Barrio staff. This position is unpaid.

Under the Talent Manager, Recruitment and Retention the intern will assist the HR department in several key areas including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, compensation and benefits. May include research of other organizations or recognized HR bodies of knowledge (i.e. SHRM, etc). This position is non-paid.

This intern will assist in the implementation of the early learning performance evaluation strategy in work closely with the VP of Program Strategy, Early Learning and Performance Improvement staff in developing related tools. Evaluation strategy includes early learning program and business performance, outcomes and continuous improvement. These projects may change and be determined based on the time of the internship. This internship is non-paid.

The intern will help increase the capacity of the El Barrio staff by helping to work with the already established El Barrio clientele, and working to recruit new clientele. In addition to this, this intern will work to retain the existing positive relationships that already exist between El Barrio and their current clients. This position is unpaid.
