About the Life is good Kids Foundation The Life is good Playmakers are the philanthropic action arm of the Life is good Company and an accredited 501(c)(3) public charity. Their vision is a world where all children grow-up feeling safe, loved and joyful. In order to make this vision a reality, The Life is good Playmakers partner with frontline professionals such as teachers, social workers and child life specialists who dedicate their lives to helping children overcome poverty, violence and illness. These Playmakers use the power of play to build healing, life-changing relationships with the children in their care. Reports to Finance Manager Job Summary: this playful individual will be the behind-the-scenes guru for our Playmaker Finance team during the summer of 2013. They will assist our Finance Manager in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, as well as strengthening back-end record keeping and finance operations as we ramp up during our busiest time of the year the annual Life is good Festival. The position is part time, 2-3 days per week. Interested applicants would be eligible to receive course credit from their higher education institutions in compensation for their time at this internship.
