West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell is looking for a qualified intern to join our Human Resources Department for Summer and/or Fall 2013. Our HR department supports over 750 employees and contract staff for West Valley Medical Center, Idaho Surgery Center and four West Valley Medical Group clinics.
The HR intern will help with departmental customer service needs, schedule appointments, call for reference checks, keep forms and handbooks current and printed, assist with filing, and work on a variety of assigned projects intended to expose the intern to Human Resources processes.
The ideal candidate for this internship opportunity will be a current college student in the Caldwell/Nampa/Boise area who is majoring in Business Administration or Human Resource Management, desires to learn more about the Human Resources profession, and is able to commit 8-15 hours/week. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of human resources.
