Compass Health is a community mental health agency based out of Everett, WA. We serve those individuals who suffer from mental illness. We are looking for interns who would like to make a difference in the lives of of mentally ill adults in our community.

Clinical counseling and coaching practice in Washington, DC seeking intern interested in shadowing a licensed clinical professional who provides mental health counseling and coaching to individuals, groups, and families. The EAP intern will focus on the Employee Assistance Program, e.g., marketing, supporting referrals, billing and administrative responsibilities. Supervision hours in Counseling are provided.

I am partners in a real estate holding company & construction company. In 2012, I started a program to train Ex-offenders in construction. In 2013, I've expanded into housing for Ex-offenders. In the next month or so, I plan to launch a life-skills training program for Ex-offenders. It's my belief, that if we solve the problems of housing, stable employment & basic life skills mixed with counseling, we have the best chance of keeping ex-offenders from making the same mistakes over again. Since staring, everything has been self-funded and self-completed. I'm looking for someone to help coordinate this program and find potential grants and partners. If my vision works, it can be exported into almost any city in the country and change the lives for many, many people.

The Entrepreneurial Center is a small business incubator. We help start-up and growing companies by offering a place to locate their company and many ammenities to save overhead costs as they grow. We also offer free general consulting with aspects of business planning assistance and potential funding sources to prospective companies and the general public.

The Hanover Township Senior Center was dedicated on April 2, 2005. It is a visible symbol of the support that this community has for its elders. A Senior Tax Referendum, "Support Our Seniors," was passed in November 2002 thanks to our seniors whose dedication and hard work incited its passage. This Referendum allowed for the construction and maintenance of a new Senior Center. Opperman Architects, Inc. and contractor, Lamp, Inc. worked along with our Supervisor, Clerk, Board of Trustees and staff to achieve a dream that benefits all adults, age 55 and over, who live in Hanover Township. The Senior Services Department offers a wide variety of advantages to the seniors who live in our Township. We offer transportation, recreational programs and trips, social services as well as many opportunities for volunteerism.

To address these issues, Kenya government has established many rural health centers and government hospitals. As these facilities are cheaper or affordable for poor families, they are always over-crowded with patients. There is a consistent shortage of resources and manpower, specifically doctors. Available doctors often have no facilities at which to care for the sick.. The outlying areas and villages desperately need medical interns. As a medical intern in Kenya , you often work in these rural conditions. Usually an intern acts as an assistant to available doctors, helping with whatever task necessary. Work responsibilities vary with education, skill and experience. There are so many areas in which the medical community and Kenyan citizens need help.
