POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The MIS Intern will provide second level desktop support for Clemens Food Group team members. Support tasks include but are not limited to the resolution of desktop problems not resolved by first level helpdesk personnel. The performance of scheduled desktop software and hardware upgrades as well as installation of new hardware and software. Serve as a point of contact for problems that requiring further escalation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The resolution of trouble calls logged thru the Liquid Care Response Center.
The installation of new desktop hardware and software.
Upgrade team member desktops and software.
Document problem resolutions thru the Liquid Care Response Center.
Communicate problem solutions to other team members as well as helpdesk personnel.
Troubleshoot, repair and replace other network devices such as printers, projectors, phones, scanners, PDA's, etc.
Serve as a project team member for project level efforts such as Profile migration, Exchange upgrade, etc.

Requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
?College degree in progress with major or minor in IT.
?Knowledge and experience loading and maintaining Microsoft operating systems
?Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
?Experience with computer hardware and network components
?Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

The Interfaith Social Services Food Pantry intern must be an individual with exceptional organizational ability and a strong desire to serve those in need. The fall season is the busiest time of the year for many nonprofit organizations. Each year our food pantry assists thousands of disadvantaged families through the Halloween Costume Drive, Thanksgiving Meal and Help for the Holiday programs. The Food Pantry intern works directly with the Food Pantry Manager to oversee client intake, coordination with donors, program promotion, liaison with community contacts, volunteer management and overall distribution of services.
