SUMMARY: The goal of the Internship Program is to build the technical skills of participants by partnering them with experienced Federal-Mogul professionals and exposing them to projects in their field. DESCRIPTION: Take the lead on one or two major projects that will benefit one of the Skokie Plants Value Streams. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist other Mfg. Engineers in the design, specification, procurement, installation, and Start-up of equipment needed in all aspects of manufacturing. Create project reports to help justify capital expenditures. Estimate cost and timing of project tasks, and track cost, schedule, and performance. Work in a project team environment to implement manufacturing improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing principles
