Were a media company looking for two Writing Interns to write about 20 short articles per month about up-and-coming tech startups and smartphone apps. In addition to writing, you might be asked to do some background research and help us scour the web for interesting topics to tackle. Youll be working with Tech Cocktails senior writer, Kira Newman. Since this is remote work, were looking for someone who is responsible enough to work independently, can manage time well, and has good digital communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a young, growing technology company - you'll have fun, learn some things, be very hands-on, and get to interact with the team! Youll also get to see your work published right away and start making contacts in the startup industry. About Tech Cocktail: Tech Cocktail dedicates itself to covering news, how-tos, up-and-coming startups, and industry trends online, and hosting events in over 20 cities in the US and abroad. If you live in one of our event cities, youll get free tickets to a fun evening mixer and the opportunity to meet some of the startups youll be writing about. Dates: We would like someone who can start immediately. Internship is for the spring semester (February-May), with the possibility of extension. Pay: $1500 stipend.
