The Education & Outreach Department brings PBS KIDS and local learning initiatives to our communities through workshops, outreach events, the Internet, TV and Radio. Information Technology Client Solutions Department The HFA Information Technology Client Solutions (ITCS) organization is focused on maintaining existing systems that support HFAs ongoing licensing and royalty distribution activities while also extending those systems to support new business opportunities, particularly those in the digital music marketplace. ITCS, through its Program Management Team, leads the Executive Team through the definition of the rolling 18 month strategy (identifying, defining, and prioritizing essential projects across the company.) This includes focusing on projects critical to the evolution of HFA as well as shaping and implementing the technology aspects of relevant legislation. An intern within the ITCS Department will have an opportunity to contribute to various functional areas during the tenure of the internship based on skills and interest levels. We offer internships in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Spring and Fall internships are part-time positions (12-15 hrs/week), unpaid, school credit only. Spring term begins in January and end in May. Fall begins in September and ends in December. The summer internship is a full-time paid internship, which runs from June through August. Travel expenses included and potential school credit and stipend. The student intern will be a member of the CCHFH staff and will work directly with the Construction Manager and Construction Team. They will gain hands-on experience by overseeing construction at the build site daily, and have the overall responsibility for the safe execution of all activities each day. They will serve as the primary contact for the project along with the construction manager, and act as a representative for CCHFH to donors, volunteers, and the community. CCHFH is a small primarily volunteer-based organization providing the intern with the opportunity to be creative, successful, and gain on-the-job training that will assist them in their future career search.
