I am seeking an intern/s to document the workings of the show production,and the live performances. Looking for film students who also have some experience with editing, as well as camera work. IHCD's mission is to integrate extremely marginalized children into mainstream Haitian society through the provision of a holistic package of educational, nutritional, social, and community services. Documentary Film Project: IHCD has partnered with experienced film makers to create an original documentary focusing on the personalities, hopes and dreams of ten of our students. This is a nonprofit project aiming to raise awareness for a social justice cause. Interns will gain experience and a credit on the film, but will not be compensated monetarily. Available Positions: We are seeking post-production interns to help with logging and transcribing. Interns will mostly work independently; we will send you footage and a template to get started, and you can send back logs and scripts to us. We plan on continuing shooting interviews in NYC, and there will be a chance to get involved for those shoots as well.

The REACT to FILM College Action Network aims to expose, engage, and inspire young people around critical social issues. Launched in the fall of 2011, the College Action Network started out at about 10 colleges. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response, we currently have 27 chapters across the country, and are looking to expand to up to 50 chapters by the fall of 2012. College Action Network Chapter Leaders will be responsible for planning screening events featuring REACT to FILMs social issue based documentaries. Each event aims to draw a large crowd, and uses an important social issue based documentary as the means for getting students to be more engaged in the issues facing themselves and others worldwide. Screenings are followed by a guest speaker (often film director or producer) or a panel discussion. REACT to FILM frequently uses Livestream technology to connect multiple colleges in the network for interactive video Q&As. New Bay Area based non-profit is looking for an enthusiastic intern to travel to Africa to record and create a film from the projects in remote villages Sierra Leone.

LifeCity is seeking a graduate or undergraduate film student with a passion for sustainability to develop a series of promotional films of our members. The film intern will be responsible for visiting and interviewing a number of LifeCity certified green businesses, while also documenting a few businesses as they prepare for our annual sustainability business competition. This internship is a perfect opportunity to showcase documentary skills and creativity to a broad audience in New Orleans. This internship would require 5-10 hours per week. We are unable to compensate interns at this time, but guarantee promotion of interns work to our business and individual members on our website and social media channels. Independent Television Service, Inc. (ITVS) is a nonprofit organization chartered by Congress to make unique and compelling programs for public television. ITVS brings to local and national audiences high-quality, content-rich programs created by a diverse body of independent producers. ITVS programs reflect underrepresented and underserved communities. In addition to gaining hands-on work experiences, the interns will attend organizational and community engagement events, view producer rough cuts, and participate in staff activities.
