Responsibilities:

Through hands-on experience,Interns at BAYADA learn all aspects of Home Health office operations. You will assist and support the office staff with a variety of day to day operations.

As an Intern with BAYADA you will:

• Answer telephone calls
• Greet visitors
• Provide administrative support: copying, faxing, sorting mail, ordering supplies, etc.
• Track and follow up on MD orders
• Manage medical records
• Provide the highest level of customer service to each caller
• Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a four year college degree.

Previous office, health care, HR or marketing experience a plus.

A demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills and goal achievement.

Strong PC and communication skills.

General Description: The Grants department at Planned Parenthood seeks an Intern that is comfortable working with data, has basic experience using Excel, and has the ability to research data pertinent to Planned Parenthoods mission. This position will work with clinic and administrative staff to ensure accuracy of data collection. The person in this position will also be responsible for creating a database of relevant state, federal, and agency specific statistics to aid in Grant Writing and Reporting.
