eLuminate Network is a global network of entrepreneurs in various stages of their businesses from start up to advanced growth. Launched in 2007, eLuminates core mission is to champion business for the entrepreneurial community and deliver informative content that aligns with a no news, no noise theme. Members of eLuminate need substantive content designed to help other entrepreneurs scale their businesses. We are seeking interns who desire a career in journalism and who can assist with developing the eLuminate entrepreneur community. Spa Maven (partner network to eLuminate) is an online digital network with content about the finest spas around the world. Content highlights the hottest spa trends, spa service tips and wellness ideas. We are seeking interns who desire a career in journalism and who can assist with writing content for a discerning audience. Duties include promoting Y.U.R.I. Magazine as a travel destination through the media and community relations programs developing and implementing media strategies for traditional media, including press releases, blogs, story pitches and press tours and representing Y.U.R.I. at local organization, community and committee events. Duties also include researching and developing media contacts, destination profiles, and editorial and event calendars; monitoring user-generated content; and maintaining related databases.

Internship with News for Beginners. News for Beginners is an English learning website that aims to provide news to students who are just beginning to learn English. It is a news papers for learners. The news articles are easy to read and provide real, current information about world events from people who live in different countries. We are looking for one or two students (or graduates) who are interested in journalism and social issues in their country and surrounding area. The selected applicant will write short articles about the current events that are happening in their country. The applicant must be: Able to speak English at an intermediate or advance level Located in the country about which they are writing. Interested in journalism, studying journalism, political science or related topics Able to carefully follow instructions via email Able to get regular access to the internet The selected applicant will be required to: Communicate with the Director of News for Beginners on a regular basis Submit one article per week about an important event, topic or issue happening in their country Applicants must submit: A resume (CV) A picture A cover letter explaining his/her interests, future ambitions and a brief explanation of the issues his or her country is dealing with at the moment. WETA Public Television and Classical 90.9 FM provides internship opportunities designed to help expand students' knowledge and experience in public media and compliment their studies. Working on the weekly national program, "Washington Week with Gwen Ifill", the intern will research national and international news stories, fact-check scripts, monitor live news events, log video archives, prepare the green room for guests, and assist with website updates.
