Infectious Magazine is looking for social media interns to cover a variety of tasks, including Facebook Page maintenance, Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest presence. Graphic Design background is a plus, but not required. **Please note we are specifically looking for someone who can include a few hours on Monday in their weekly social media schedule.

The primary function will be to organize and participate in promoting Y.U.R.I. Magazine at various local and regional events in the magazine industry including (but not limited to) retailer events and fashion shows. Candidate will also be expected to support and augment the Publisher in planning, organizing, and executing marketing and PR plans for Y.U.R.I. Magazine. The selected intern will work with the Art Museums editorial manager and design team on projects ranging from exhibition materials to museum publications, including external collateral pieces (invitations, brochures, advertising). Because this is a small team, this program requires interns to take substantial responsibility for writing and producing stories. Interns can expect to leave the program with a wide range of marketable skills in online journalism and publishing. Internships require an in-office time commitment of 30 hours per week for a minimum of three months. Although interns are unpaid, the organization supplies housing in a five-bedroom house near the office where most interns choose to live.
