The Medical Tourism Association, the only international non-profit organization in the medical tourism industry is looking for an enthusiastic intern to contribute to the content development of our magazine and other social media channels. Responsibilities will include: Interviewing potential authors for the magazine Contributing to the writing for the news and educational content of the magazine and newsletters. Assisting in distribution databases, add new distribution contacts. Writing content for blogs and other social media channels. Applicants must be current students within two years of earning an undergraduate degree (juniors and seniors) or current graduate students Must demonstrate proficiency speaking and writing in the English language Good Good writing skills and the ability to recognize grammatical and factual errors. Relevant coursework or experience in a cross-format environment (text, video, photos, interactive/graphics, etc.) is highly desirable. Knowledge of online and social media news venues. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) is a fast-growing association of patients, family members and medical professionals impacted by this often misdiagnosed and difficult illness. PHA is committed to maintaining the organization's volunteer spirit and to building opportunities for those affected by pulmonary hypertension to be involved in solutions to the challenges the illness creates. PHAs Medical Services Internship offers students an opportunity to assist the Associate Director, Medical Services and program associates in providing services to physicians, researchers, nurses and patients. This critical support will enable us to continue to provide vital services to the PH community. The Medical Services Intern will be instrumental in helping staff manage PHAs two medical membership networks and ensure that medical professionals who belong to these groups have access to the resources they need. This intern will have a wide range of experiences in managing the medical side of a health-related non-profit. You will be treated as a respected team member. Our office is a friendly and welcoming environment. Interns may also earn college credit. PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

As an intern with Fresenius Medical Care, a student will apply classroom based knowledge to workplace experience and will benefit from learning experiences in their major area of study.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:

  • Work with Regulatory Affairs personnel to coordinate, compile and organize information necessary for the preparation of regulatory documentation packages for review and submission to regulatory agencies.

  • Assist with the compilation of regulatory dossiers for submission to regulatory agencies.

  • Update and maintain regulatory files.

  • Other duties, as assigned.


CUSTOMER SERVICE:

  • Responsible for driving the FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards.

  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.

  • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.

  • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
