About Capital District Community Gardens For more than 35 years, Capital District Community Gardens (CDCG) has worked to reduce the impact poor nutrition has had on public health in the Capital Region by organizing urban community gardens, offering healthy food access, providing nutritional and horticultural education for all ages, and coordinating urban greening programs. Program Description Healthy Places is a program at Capital District Community Gardens that is made up of The Veggie Mobile, the Veggie Mobile Sprout, and the Healthy Convenience Store Initiative. These three programs collaborate in alleviating the nutritional inequality felt by people living in low income neighborhoods. The Healthy Places Program is comprised of a hardworking, diverse, and enthusiastic team of people. Position Description Help plan our entire offering of healthy prepared foods Assist in preparing and packaging healthy soups and salads for sale Work alongside a staff member in a commercial kitchen where proper food preparation and handling is a must Contribute creative recipes and ideas to encourage sales of nutritious food to low income populations Compensation Unpaid, college credit may be available Interns will have the opportunity to pursue related interests and special projects toward fulfillment of the program. This new online business is being created by the founders of the first successful online weight loss site, and you will work directly with our Registered and Licensed Dietitians. The ideal candidate will gain experience in the nutrition field as they work towards becoming a Registered Dietitian or similar career scope.

Join Nourishing USA as we help to teach our Junior Chef summer classes: show students how to cook a nutritious and delicious meal, how to navigate a kitchen safely and nutrition based recipes to in-need clients of food deserts in Harlem and throughout the NYC area. This is an Intensive Nutritional Education Internship. It is a 10-15 hour per week unpaid internship that allows you to help create lesson plans, teach classes hands on and connect with in-need clients that are seeking nourishment. Must be a nutritional, food studies or public health student to apply. The internship is intended to behave as a school credit. Internship takes place in Manhattan and the Bronx and will be in the summer of 2013, however we are seeking interviews with possible interns before March 28th. Aregatta has also worked with a variety of clients on the entertainment side including comedians, actors, production companies, etc. At ASM, interns will achieve a broad based experience in the sports & entertainment fields. Interns will assist in client acquisition, endorsement and sponsorship development, strategy development, branding, public relations, and a variety of other opportunities. Interns will also be exposed various issues in the sports law arena where they will get involved in issues regulation of sports, amateurism, etc. and will also assist in various media and industry initiatives.
