Our interns work under our licensed psychiatrists and advanced nurse practitioners, clinical psychologists, and other licensed counselors. Specific duties include patient intakes, assisting with medication checks, and assisting with psychotherapy. All services are cloud-based. The intern can be located anywhere in the United States or another country. The patient, intern, and psychiatrist (or other counselor) meet in our exam rooms in the cloud. Everything is managed in real time through our operations center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Interns will gain work experience by participating in the process of conducting functional behavioral assessments and writing behavioral intervention plans for people with developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of master and doctoral level clinicians, interns will perform clinical observations, interviews with staff, data analyses, and behavioral interventions. Interns have the opportunity to participate in other work and educational experiences within the Psychology Department. Positions require six to ten hours per week for the duration of the semester.
