Job Description:
The Cobol Summer Intern will work as a member of a development team creating support and maintenance utilities to support a mission critical billing application for UPS using Cobol, SQL, and MS Access The Intern will be responsible for:
- Participating in reviews
- Developing code
- Developing and executing unit tests
The selected Cobol Summer Intern must also:
- have knowledge of the full project lifecycle, including design, code, unit and integration testing
- have core knowledge and skills with Cobol, SQL
- possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
- be able to work in a team environment and be self-driven if assigned to independent or small team tasks
Primary Skill:
Cobol Programming or SQL programming

SQL Language - Beginner

MS Access - Beginner
Structured Systems Analysis - Beginner

Microsoft Office Beginner
The Summer Intern must be able to work 32-40 during the summer (generally May through August, 2013).
Education:
The Summer Intern must be currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program working toward a degree in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline.
