THE PRODUCTION/STAGE MANAGEMENT INTERN is involved in all aspects of production management, including aiding production planning, supporting rentals and events, completing production-specific research projects, and assisting with contracting and financial tracking. In addition, this intern will have the opportunity to assist the Stage Management team in the rehearsal hall and/or as part of the running crew for some CENTERSTAGE productions. Administrative and organizational skills, experience with spreadsheets and word processing, as well as the ability to work with a broad range of people and attend to numerous projects concurrently are all skills vital to excelling in this position.
ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Graduating college seniors and recent graduates are invited to apply to CENTERSTAGEs 2013-14 Professional Internship Program, which provides hands-on experience and professional guidance to early-career artists, craftspeople, and administrators.
Interns at the Baltimore-based LORT B/C theater work full time from mid-August to early June, enjoying benefits that include free housing, a weekly stipend, networking opportunities, and professional development.
