The purpose of the program is to further the interns career preparation while also developing and evaluating Starboards future talent. The program provides opportunities to develop new skills, work in a corporate environment, and network with others.
The program can best be described as project-oriented and hands-on; interns are given meaningful work and are assigned individual projects. Ultimately, the program provides career-related work experience that serves as the ideal complement to your academic education.
*The Retail Merchandising intern will run vendor selling reports, analyze sales results, set-up skus, manage assortments, work on marketing projects, competitive shopping, pricing analysis, demographics research and attend vendor meetings.
