The intern will assist in event planning, help to garner donations, coordinate volunteers, write speeches and subsequently submerge themselves in public speaking, write press releases and contact media sources, put together video packages, update social media, help in writing the newsletter, assist in the spring mailing, etc. This is an unpaid internship that requires approximately 10-12 hours per week. Interns will gain work experience by participating in the process of conducting functional behavioral assessments and writing behavioral intervention plans for people with developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of master and doctoral level clinicians, interns will perform clinical observations, interviews with staff, data analyses, and behavioral interventions. Interns have the opportunity to participate in other work and educational experiences within the Psychology Department. Positions require six to ten hours per week for the duration of the semester.
