HOW TO APPLY
o Application materials: resume, cover letter, twitter handle
ResponsibilitiesHelp manage our social media properties including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Google+ and Vine
Assist in the production of contests/promotions and prize fulfillment
Work with our Social Media Managers to build buzz around social and community-driven campaigns
Monitor and track performance of social media and community campaigns
Shadow with various internal teams (Branded Entertainment, Product, Design, Research and Editorial)
Requirementso General interest in pop culture
o Active on Twitter and Tumblr
o Major/minor in marketing or journalism preferred
o Professional/technical skills: Social media experience
We are seeking intelligent, creative, driven and detail-orientated individuals with excellent communication & interpersonal skills and a deep love of social media and all things pop culture who have a strong desire to learn in a dynamic & fun environment. An interest or major/minor in marketing or journalism and an active social media presence are essential, as are knowledge and expertise in social media platforms, Photoshop and Wordpress.
INTERN(S) MUST RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SpinMedia's INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.
