The Integrated Marketing department at McGraw-Hill Education has an exciting internship position to support the Content/Social Media team! The Integrated Marketing Department is charged with creating and implementing campaigns (email, digital/print advertising, public relations, sales promotions, etc.) through the coordinated use of traditional and digital campaigns, including social media. All campaigns are designed to ensure consistent and unified McGraw-Hill School Education brand messaging & communication across all channels.

What You Will Learn How To Do:

Monitor numerous social media sites for relevant comments, discussions, and conversations.
Contribute to long term social media plans and social media content calendars.
Build and maintain relationships with our online communities by maintaining Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and other media accounts.
Track social media analytic using HootSuite and other software; produce weekly dashboard reports, and present new ideas to our Integrated Marketing team.
Create and track the results of compelling content that will be shared by influences and industry partners.
Assist our Director and Manager of Social Media marketing in building and presenting social media tactics and communications.
Assist marketing staff with creating lead-nurturing programs, and general reporting, using Marketing Automation Software (Marketo).
Additional projects and responsibilities related to content/social media marketing as assigned.


Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations area of study
Strong interest in social media
Competent with Web technologies, media file formats, and social media tools
Knowledge of SEO/SEM standards and best practices
Some experience with graphical development
Good oral and especially written communications skills
Strong analytic and process skills
Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and internet research methods
Writing examples with submissions are preferred.
