Are you passionate about public safety, technology, mobile apps, and a social media guru? Then CrimePush Security is looking to recruit you to our team of P/T interns. We are looking for tech savy, self-starters who are ambitious and are passionate about social media and digital marketing!

CrimePush is a start-up mobile app company that has already been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, Fox, Digital Journal, NBC, ABC, and many more. We are a passionate team who has come together to make reporting crimes, incidents and other tools for users at the push of a button.
WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:
Internship opportunity for a Start Up Smartphone App Company//Social Media Marketer (ONLY STUDENTS or RECENT GRADS)
Position is 90 days to possible F/T employment.
Helping to create, moderate and generate exposure for the mobile application
Contributing to marketing brainstorming sessions
Create a dialogue with the target market
Approaching bloggers and newspapers for PR purposes
Must be able to work unsupervised for the majority of time and show detailed progress of your work, (please note this internship is F/T although mainly remote.)
Strong interpersonal, analytic and communication skills
Creative marketing techniques and more ideas on exposure techniques
Large network(preferably over 1.5K FB friends, over 100+ Twitter followers) a plus is it is in multiple segments such as geographic, age, gender, etc...
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; attention to detail
Positive attitude; team player
Strong social media skills- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest, Google+
Open to Sophomore, Junior or Senior students
Students pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Communications, and Business are preferred, but opportunity is open to all majors.
Being a blogger or connections to bloggers in the tech/mobile/app/safety atmosphere a +.
Also passionate about reducing crime! MAJOR +!
This will be a P/T internship with flexible hours, able to work remotely with weekly meetings (via phone or Skype). This internship is for school credit with a start-up company which looks fantastic on your resume. Please note, this is unpaid and for school credit but references and recommendation letters are available for passionate interns who bring lots of exposure through their creative abilities.

Responsibilities- Coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns and update Web sites
- Collaborate with the Communications Department and report to the Senior Digital Strategist

Our candidate must be CREATIVE and able to follow directions. We are looking for fresh ideas, enticing tweets, building a dialogue and starting a community. Our app is very successful with 5 star ratings and lots of press but we need it to go viral and we can do so with your exposure and help.
