Wymond Associates will offer an internship in Social Media this fall. The position is an internship with potential of a full time position within the company. This position employs major corporate social community aspects, which include expansion of social media strategy; maintenance of existing media outlets; increase outreach efficiency; manage new projects and/or events; and other corporate initiatives, as necessary.

Responsibilities

- Assist in creation of social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility across the company
- Assist in implementation and management of social media program to include managing communities on various social media channels by hosting discussion, answering questions and moderating content
-Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
-Assist in monitoring trends in social media tools/application and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the use of social media programs (i.e. Facebook, Twitter)
-Assist in strategizing with and educating the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company's products and services
-Assist in writing articles and posting new content to the Internet
-Write and edit content for e-newsletter, press releases and other marketing materials

Requirements

- Must have experience/knowledge with Flickr, Word Press, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedln, Drupal CMS, Press Releases or similar correspondence
-Knowledge of You Tube Channels, RSS, Google Analytics, SEO is beneficial
-Excellent writing and editing skills
-College credits in communication, journalism, business managment, public relations or a related field.
