Social Media Intern

Anomaly Squared is seeking a Social Media Intern. We are the fastest growing marketing company in the U.S. and are expanding our operations to include a creative digital division. Over the next 12 months, we will position ourselves as an internationally recognized creative team. Located in Greensboro, NC, Anomaly is remodeling a 10,000sqft co-working and accelerator space to also house the creative digital division.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands on position, with a high level of responsibility.
• Manage social media communities on behalf of a wide variety of clients.
• Serve as contact point, communicating with clients on ideas, strategy and content.
• Assist in developing an overall social strategy and key messaging to achieve goals specific to each clients’ community growth.
• Identify, manage and engage with community influencers and users on key social media channels.
• Create and maintain social media editorial calendar and measure the success of social media activities.
• Drive new business and maintain engagement through social media channels.
• Stay up-to-date on social trends, tools and best practices.
• Work with other divisions at Anomaly in aligning clients’ social media strategy with overall digital media strategy.

Desired Skills & Experience

• University degree or currently enrolled in University.
• 3+ years of social media and community management experience with proven success developing and implementing social media strategy.
• Proven experience using social media to build an audience.
• You’re social savvy with strong knowledge of social media channels and tools.
• Highly active on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, LinkedIn and actively participate in discussions across communities, social networks and blogs.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Possess a high degree of independence, self-motivation, problem solving and resourcefulness.
• Proven ability to manage the dynamics of the social media conversation and to engage directly with the community.
