Oregon Football Association (OFA)

DescriptionOregon Football Association (OFA) is a non-profit made up of University of Oregon football alumni. Our organization puts on football camps for kids, staring from third grade to high school. Our camps are held through out the state of Oregon and happen during the summers, with networking and social events in-between. We are looking for an intern that can help promote camps and create and uphold relationships with sponsors, while performing social media tasks.
Responsibilities-Assist the monitoring of company’s presence on trending social media outlets in an effort to increase awareness of the OtterBox brand.
-Current sites include: Facebook, Twitter and Wordpress (www.ofamovement.org)
-Coordinate public relation goals with customer service and sales goals to answer questions and create interest in the OFAmovement.
-Assist Social Media Specialist in tracking projects to create effective promotions and outreach activities in social spaces.
-Monitor Social Media industry and give feedback on new channels that should be pursued.
-Other duties as assigned.
Requirements-Have a background, focus and/or interest in advertising, marketing or communications.
-Have heightened ability to multi-task and prioritize.
-Be detail-oriented, responsible and self-motivated with excellent computer and communication skills.
-Proficiency in Twitter and facebook, as well as Microsoft Office (i.e.Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are mandatory.) Knowledge of Indesign is highly valued.
-Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member while meeting organizational standards.
