North Main Music is an innovative chain of music lesson studios in New Hampshire. We are a well-established, growing brand, seeking interns to help us further develop our brand through social media!
This position provides a unique opportunity for college students with a passion for music, entrepreneurship, or social media to play a direct role in managing, developing, and executing a successful small business new media strategy. Responsibilities will include direct influence in creative development, content creation, and social media management and interactivity. You will have the opportunity to learn by DOING in an engaging environment where your creativity and personality are welcomed! We are able to offer college credit and compensation on an individual basis.
Work directly and closely with company leadership to;
-Create, develop, and execute innovative social media initiatives
-Create engaging, shareable content, and manage current social media and web presence initiatives

-Able to commit 4 - 8 hours a week (virtually, and monthly in-person meetings at our Nashua or Bedford NH locations)
-On track for college degree in Communications, PR, Music, or other related field
-Outgoing, creative, highly motivated, with a bold, passionate, professional "outside the box" attitude
-Have the ability to develop innovative, compelling programs and content
- Hold a comprehensive knowledge of all popular social media websites (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc)
-Have excellent communication skills (even when using less than 140 characters)
-Able to pay close attention to detail and problem solve
-Able to self-organize, prioritize, and schedule work effectively under time constraints
-Proficient in MS Office Suite or similar
-Be ready to ROCK
Preferred (but not required):
-An interest in music, small business, and entrepreneurship
-Knowledge of news and popular culture
