Slow Art Day is a global arts movement with a simple mission: help more people learn how to look at and love art.
Interns develop skills in social media marketing and non-profit management, build their network in the art world, and gain experience in building a global arts movement.

We are currently hiring Social Media Interns for the fall 2014 semester. Internships are scheduled on an 8 - 12 week basis, and a 10 - 15 hour/week commitment is expected. Start and end dates are flexible. Internships can be extended upon mutual agreement of the intern and the internship coordinator. All internships are unpaid; we will happily work with you to arrange school credit.

If you have experience using Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, or other social media platforms, or you want to learn and you are a self-starter with good writing skills, then apply for a position as a Social Media Intern. You’ll work with our editors and develop skills in writing, strategizing, and coordinating social media campaigns on global platforms. Slow Art Day has one of the most impressive social media teams, with a 50,000+ Tumblr following and an equally active Twitter and Facebook presence. Upon acceptance to the internship program, we will work with you to develop a specific social media-related project that is relevant to your interests, skill set, and career goals.

As a small non-profit organization, we offer interns the opportunity to quickly advance to positions of responsibility. This internship is ideal for someone who is ambitious or visionary, who wants to change the world, make an impact, and be heard through arts and social media.
