Fusion Radio, a leading internet radio portal is looking for dedicated music news bloggers, reporters and writers. Fusion Radio is a dance (EDM) station that for the past two years have won the Best Internet Station from industry group Promo Only. It's an exciting opportunity to come work for a great company and station- while gaining professional experience to add to your portfolio. You'll be able to work remotely and with deadlines instead of office-hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION
**This is an unpaid intership**

We are seeking a Social Media intern. The job requires approx 5 hours a week, working remotely. You will learn the ins and outs of our business and how to make social media a productive part of our overall marketing efforts. This internship is an unpaid position.

Interns are expected to have some experience with social media on a personal level. You must be able to think strategically and see how social media fits into a businesses marketing strategy, building long-lasting relationships by providing value to them. Interns must be able to assist in formulating social media plans. You must be able to measure and comment the impact of your campaigns and suggest action-steps to increase impact.

Responsibilities

Interns will be performing the following tasks:
-Manage two station's Facebook and Twitter accounts
-Upload videos, photos, etc
-Finding users to follow/friend/like our business
-Writing and posting posts/tweets/updates, etc
-Tracking the growth and impact of social media
-Replying to comments, messages, etc
-Reports findings to team
-Consistently learn and grow

Additional Information/Schedule:
Location: Online, Telecommuniting
This position does not have a set scheduled, however bi-weekly conference calls will be scheduled

Requirements

Skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
-Be creative
-Knowledge of social media- Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc
-Energy, with desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
-Ability to indentify a target market and "speak" to that consumer.
-Willingness to work with our mixed demographics, including the GLBT market
-Ability to deal with uncertainty
-Ability to contribute individually
