The Social Media Manager not only understands how users discover, interact with, consume and share content socially, but also how these behaviors and platforms evolve over time. We need a person who can effectively do the day-to-day work while strategically thinking about the bigger picture of supporting the company’s respective missions, and ensuring consistency in voice and brand to our brand clients and prospective clients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

-Strategically develop and manage brand presence of our fashion clients in social networking sites including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest and other similar community sites
-Develop, execute and manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities including community-outreach, engaging indialogues and answering questions
-Monitor relevant social media benchmarks and analyze and report on effectiveness of specific campaigns
-Develop viral campaigns, contests, sweepstakes and other incentive-based programs to build brand awareness and engagement
-Work closely with PR team on blogger outreach and giveaway campaigns
-Provide the PR and Marketing Account teams with regular feedback on insights gained from social media monitoring to help the teams evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
-Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and application
-Suggest & implement editorial guidelines for original content based on social trends

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Has:

-Bachelors Degree
-Deep understanding of social media landscape, how it works, who’s important, how to leverage it
-Experience using social research/analysis tools such as SproutSocial or Hootsuite, Salesforce, Facebook Insights etc.
-In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Google+, Digg,Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
-Personallyand/or professionally active on major platforms in the social media space
-Strong project management and organizational skills
-Must be proactive, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills
-Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
-Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO
-Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, including an engaging writing style
-Bilingual in French is a plus
