DescriptionFleck Consulting, Inc. is a progressive Public Relations & Media Consulting firm based in Allentown, PA with an extensive list of public and private sector clients. The firm specializes in strategic communications, campaign management, marketing, public relations, and governmental affairs.
The Social Media & Marketing Intern will work exclusively in the digital space, collaborating with our Graphic Design Team and our Strategic Communications Consultants to create engaging messages using a wide variety of Social Media platforms.
This is a great opportunity for College Students to gain valuable experience working in the political arena while developing skills necessary for success in both the public and private sector.
ResponsibilitiesCore responsibilities for Social Media & Marketing Interns will be:
Collaborate with the Fleck Consulting Team in the design & implementation of campaigns and programs for our public and private sector clients; management of all social media for multiple clients, including daily updates, development of new content, and coordination with the media team to deliver pertinent content in the most efficient and effective manner.
This is the perfect opportunity for a proactive, motivated college student to build an excellent network while acquiring and developing the skills necessary to succeed in either the public or private sector.

RequirementsInterns should have flexible schedules, a desire to be involved in the political process, and a strong work ethic.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to balance keen understanding and vision of the client's goals and the firm's strategies with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to pursuing them. Essential qualifications include: superior oral and written communications skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent telephone manner, a comprehensive understanding of the social media space, and an out-of-the-box, can-do attitude.
