As a social, marketing, and communications intern you will contribute from day one of joining the YourSmartHome team. Your primary responsibility is to actively manage our Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, and Google+ pages. This includes working on a comprehensive social media strategy, preparing newsletters, coordinating with outside partners and ensuring YourSmartHome’s social efforts are best supporting and aligned with our overall business goals.
This internship has flexible hours and is remote-work friendly, although being in the NYC area is a plus.
Responsibilities-Review, update, improve, and execute upon our existing social media strategy.
-Coordinate with larger marketing team, to make sure all current promotions, news, and any other relevant items are appropriately being communicated.
-Actively manage YourSmartHome’s Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google+ pages.
-Provide weekly updates and analytic reports.
-Engage with other social media users as appropriate.
-We are a very young and dynamic team. If you have the drive and ability to master these responsibilities and the interest to take on others, we’re happy to help you gain experience in the areas of your desire.
Requirements-Currently active on more than two social platforms.
-Experience in brand management and social media management.
-Excellent writing and communication skills.
-Ability to meet deadlines and actively manage your own tasks.
-Looking for an intern to start asap.
-Availability in NYC for occasional in-person meetings is a plus.
