The Position - Social Media Master (Online Internship)
Using your knowledge and expertise of social media and online marketing, you will be responsible for increasing the online media presence of PowerHouse Growers. By assisting in growing current media outlets as well as finding new ones, you will play a crucial role in driving traffic and boosting SEO.
With ongoing support and interest from the PowerHouse Growers management team, you will gain valuable experience and connections, leading to a productive and successful internship program. This internship has the potential to lead to a full-time, regular position.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Social Media Master, you will be responsible for managing the social media and online presence of PowerHouse Growers on a regular basis. Regular duties and responsibilities will include:
-Monitoring other blogs and online platforms in the same market, and interact within these networks by posting and commenting
- Regular outreach and promotion through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and more
-Interacting with followers on these social networks and build online relationships by offering helpful resources/content
-Active participation in website and social media optimization strategies (regular input and feedback)
-Keyword analysis and research
-Providing management with regular progress updates on social media metrics and traffic numbers
RequirementsApplicants must be available to commit 4+ hours per week, depending on requirements of their school. Students studying in the areas of Marketing and Communications will find this internship valuable in the application of their education.
Applicants must possess:
-Strong social media and online marketing skills and background
-Excellent writing and communications skills
-Enthusiasm and passion for building online relationships
