DescriptionThe Conrad-Caldwell House Museum is a historic home located in Old Louisville. Restored to its Gilded Age glory in 1987, it has been open to the public ever since. The museum is seeking an energetic, thoughtful intern to help propel us into the digital age via social media and internet outreach.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include creating and updating Facebook, Twitter, etc., accounts, sending and receiving a high volume of calls and emails, drafting press releases and calls for volunteers, and some word processing and filing.

RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, an excellent phone manner, experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and other commonplace social media platforms, and a positive attitude. Some basic web design knowledge is likewise very desirable. We ask that all applicants be rising college sophomores or older.
This position is 10-20 hours a week and is unpaid, but we can try and work with you to get college credit. The intern must work from the offices of the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum.
