DescriptionWe are looking for a social media/marketing assistant intern to coordinate and assist marketing and social networking campaigns across several divisions of our company, including a non-profit company. If you like working on many different things, this is a great internship for you.
You will work directly with the CEO, a published author, popular blogger and marketing/sales director. You'll gain experience in marketing, advertising, social media, PR, and brand development. This is a great way to get experience in marketing and social networking with a company who has many connections!
This is an unpaid internship, without credit. However, it will come with glowing recommendations for the person who excels ... and we'll be happy to market you to our thousands of connections.
Most of the work will be performed virtually. (Yep! You can do it from home or the coffee shop!)
Responsibilities- Create and coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinate and market on social networks during peak times.
- Create and distribute online newsletter.
- Provide email and survey follow-up.
- Create marketing materials.
- Provide research for blog material topics; possibly write blog copy.
- Other duties, as needed.
Requirements-Must have experience with Twitter and Facebook, and provide links to 1-3 current social networking profiles to demonstrate interest and knowledge.
-Possess above-average skills in writing, interpersonal relations, and customer management (writing samples required).
-Familiar with newsletter creation and blogging.
-Must have own computer, Internet access and mobile phone.
-Background check will be performed.
-Outgoing and self-motivated.
